Helping to Build Resilient Communities

Tyco Fire Protection Products recently assisted South African partner, Bridget Systems, as they exhibited at the 30th annual conference hosted by the South African Emergency Services Institute (SAESI).

The SAESI conference focused on the theme of ‘building resilient communities’ and aimed to give local government officials access to the policies and tools they need to effectively deal with the threat of disaster that they face every day and help them build more resilient communities.
Alongside the conference fire rescue, safety authorities and manufacturers showcased their latest innovations during an exhibition and held in depth demonstrations during dedicated training sessions. The exhibition followed on from the international exhibition, Interschutz, which takes place every five years in Germany and is dedicated to fire rescue, prevention, disaster relief, safety and security.
Renowned for providing total fire protection solutions, including fire detection, containment and suppression, Brigit Systems attended the exhibition in partnership with Tyco Fire Protection Products. Having recently enhanced its product portfolio to include a wider range of sprinkler and suppression products from Tyco, Brigit attended the SAESI exhibition to showcase its total solutions range, including the gas releasing panel from FireClass.
Sales Manager for Fire Detection, Corne Momberg, said: “Brigit Systems’ comprehensive range of fire detection, suppression and security products will help to protect communities and make them more resilient to fire and security emergencies. The exhibition was a great success and there was a lot of interest from visitors.”
